The Salt City Wine Swap is a quarterly get-together for home winemakers to share tips, tricks, and... WINE!

Making wine at home is easy, and can save you up to 70% over buying wine at the liquor store, but while Winexpert and RJS kits can make world class wine, sometimes you don't want 6 gallons of a particular style of wine. Now you can trade some of your bottles with other winemakers and truly build your wine cellar just how you want it!

Anyone can show up to a meeting, but you must buy a membership to trade with with others and receive all the benefits of the club. Come in to Salt City Brew Supply, or Ogden City Brew Supply for your membership today!

Rules:
Come in to Salt City Brew Supply and buy a brochure for $25. It includes your Salt City Wine Swap Membership Card, your one time 10% off wine kit card and a friend referral card that can earn you a $20 gift card.**

Your membership card gets you into the Wine Swap events and entitles you to free corks every time you purchase a wine kit* from Salt City Brew Supply or Ogden City Brew Supply.

The Wine Swap members meet quarterly. The first part of the meeting will be instructional time with a Q and A period followed by a wine tasting of a homebrewed wine courtesy of BSG or LD carlson. The Wine Swap will then be open to trading with other members.

The purpose of the Salt City Wine Swap is to allow people to get rid of wine they have too much of, and to help grow the selection in their wine cellars with wine they haven't brewed before, or want to try. Trading single bottles at a time will not accomplish this, so a 3 bottle minimum is required. bottles must be labeled with at least a small sticker noting the Wine Style and date bottled. Remember this is for people to try out wine that they might not brew otherwise, so please be honest about what quality level of wine was brewed if from a kit (e.g. Eclipse, Selection, Vintner's Reserve).

Mead (honey wine) and homemade fruit wine (plum, cherry, strawberry) is welcome in the Wine Swap, but if you are trading, it might be hard for others to know the trade value with other wine. But, this might be exactly what someone is looking for, something they haven't every tried before, so please bring what you have.
